Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how KAMIKAZ handles information when you use our mobile game.
1. Overview
KAMIKAZ is a mobile block puzzle game developed and published by Nativia Solutions.
We respect your privacy. KAMIKAZ is designed to provide a gameplay experience without requiring you to create an account or provide personal information.
We do not sell or rent information about you to anyone, and there is no advertising or analytics in KAMIKAZ. What the Leaderboards option sends, and why, is set out in section 3.
2. Information We Collect
KAMIKAZ does not require an account and does not directly collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, postal address, contacts, or precise location.
Gameplay information such as scores, progress, settings, preferences, and locally stored game state is stored locally on your device so that the game can function correctly and remember your preferences.
If — and only if — you switch on Leaderboards in the game's settings, finished games are also sent to our server so that they can be scored and ranked. The table below marks those rows; everything else stays on your device whatever you choose.
| Data | Purpose | Collected by us? |
|---|---|---|
| Account information | No account is required. | No |
| Name / email / phone number | Not required for gameplay. | No |
| Precise location | Not required by KAMIKAZ. | No |
| Gameplay progress | To provide game functionality. | Stored locally |
| Game settings | To remember your preferences. | Stored locally |
| Display name | To label your row on a leaderboard. Chosen by you, or generated by the game if you never chose one. | Only with Leaderboards on |
| Finished games | To compute and rank your score. Each one is sent as the recording of how it was played, not as a number — see section 3. | Only with Leaderboards on |
| A random installation identifier | To recognise that two games came from the same player. Generated at random on your device; not your advertising ID, not your Android ID, and not derived from your hardware. | Only with Leaderboards on |
3. What Stays on Your Device, and What Can Leave It
KAMIKAZ may store certain information locally on your device, including game progress, scores, unlocked content, preferences, and settings.
This information is used solely to provide the functionality of the game.
With Leaderboards switched off — which is how KAMIKAZ arrives — none of it is transmitted to Nativia Solutions. The game is fully playable that way: the daily challenge is generated from the date, scores and progress are kept on the device, and cards and duels travel between phones as QR codes you show to someone in the room.
If you switch Leaderboards on
Each time you finish a game, KAMIKAZ sends us: your display name, a random identifier generated on your device, and a recording of the game — the starting conditions and the sequence of your inputs, together about half a kilobyte. For a daily challenge it also sends which calendar day the game belongs to, taken from your device's own clock, so that the challenge is scored against the right day where you are.
We send the recording rather than the score because we do not take a score on trust: our server replays the recording through the same game engine to work out what it was actually worth, and that computed figure is the only one a leaderboard ever shows. The score your phone reported is kept alongside it so the two can be compared, and is never published.
We do not receive your email address, your contacts, your location, your phone number, or any identifier that follows you across other apps.
If a game finishes while you have no connection, it waits on your device until there is one. Switching Leaderboards back off stops any further sending and discards whatever was still waiting.
4. Device Information
KAMIKAZ does not intentionally collect personal device identifiers such as your phone number, IMEI, contacts, or precise location.
Like most Android applications, the Android operating system may provide technical information to the platform for purposes such as application installation, security, updates, and platform operation. Such processing is controlled by Android and Google according to their respective policies.
5. Third-Party Services
The current version of KAMIKAZ does not use third-party advertising or analytics services to collect personal information from users.
KAMIKAZ is distributed through Google Play. Google may process information in connection with the Google Play platform, application distribution, security, payments, and related services according to Google's own privacy policies.
We do not control the privacy practices of third-party platforms. You should review their respective privacy policies for more information.
6. Advertising
The current version of KAMIKAZ does not display third-party advertisements and does not use an advertising SDK to collect information about you.
7. Analytics and Tracking
The current version of KAMIKAZ does not use third-party analytics or tracking services to build user profiles or track your activity across applications or websites.
8. How We Use Information
Nativia Solutions never uses information about you for advertising, profiling, marketing, or sale to third parties. That is true of what stays on your device and equally true of what a leaderboard submission sends us.
Information stored locally on your device is used only to provide game functionality, including:
- Saving your game progress.
- Saving your scores and achievements.
- Remembering your settings and preferences.
- Providing the game's features and modes.
Information sent to us with Leaderboards on is used for one purpose and no other: replaying your game to work out what it scored, and placing that score on a leaderboard beside the display name you chose. It is not used to build a profile of you, and it is not combined with anything from another source, because there is no other source.
9. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent information about you, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. There is no advertising network and no analytics service in KAMIKAZ.
What a leaderboard shows to other players is a display name and a score, and nothing else. Recordings of your games are not published and are not shown to anyone.
Our server is operated for us by our hosting provider, which stores this data on our behalf and does not use it for anything of its own.
10. Data Retention and Deletion
With Leaderboards switched off, we hold nothing about you at all, and there is nothing to delete.
With Leaderboards on, we keep your display name, your random identifier and your submitted games for as long as the leaderboard season they belong to is being shown, and we remove them afterwards. To have them removed sooner, write to privacy@nativia.co from any address and say so; if you can include the identifier the game shows you, it is faster, but it is not required.
One consequence is worth stating plainly: that identifier is generated on your device and stored with the rest of the game's data. Clearing the app's storage erases it, and we have no way to connect a fresh installation back to games sent before. Your previous entries stay on the leaderboard under the old identifier until they are removed or the season ends.
Game data stored locally on your device can generally be removed by uninstalling KAMIKAZ or clearing the application's storage through your Android device settings.
Please note that uninstalling the application may permanently remove locally stored game progress.
11. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by our services. However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
What reduces the risk here is how little there is to expose. With Leaderboards off, nothing about you reaches our servers at all. With them on, what we hold is a display name you chose, an identifier your device generated at random, and recordings of games — no email address, no password, no payment details, and nothing that identifies you outside KAMIKAZ. Everything travels over HTTPS, and the recordings themselves are never published.
12. Children's Privacy
KAMIKAZ is not specifically designed as a service directed toward children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. KAMIKAZ requires no account and asks for no personal information, so the game can be played without giving Nativia Solutions anything at all. If Leaderboards are switched on, the display name shown beside a score is chosen freely and does not have to be a real name; we would rather it were not one.
13. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including rights to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability.
With Leaderboards switched off, we hold nothing about you, so there is nothing for us to access, correct, delete or export — the game's data is on your device and under your control there.
With Leaderboards switched on, those rights apply to what we hold: a display name, a random identifier, and recordings of the games you submitted. To exercise any of them, write to privacy@nativia.co. Including the identifier the game shows you under the Leaderboards switch makes it quicker, but it is not required. We answer within one month.
You can also stop the collection at any moment without writing to anyone: switching Leaderboards off ends all sending and discards whatever was still waiting on your device. It does not by itself remove what was already submitted — for that, ask.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to KAMIKAZ, our services, applicable laws, or our privacy practices.
When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how KAMIKAZ handles information.

16. Governing Policy
This Privacy Policy applies specifically to the KAMIKAZ mobile application developed and published by Nativia Solutions.
This policy does not govern third-party services that may be accessed through Google Play or other platforms. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies.
